FAQs
Our Signature SHIN Matcha has a smooth, balanced taste with natural sweetness and a rich umami flavour, making it easy to enjoy both on its own and in lattes.
Our matcha comes from Shizuoka, one of Japan’s most respected tea-growing regions. We work directly with a family-run tea farm with over a century of tea-making expertise, bringing carefully cultivated Japanese matcha from the farm to your cup.
Produced in small batches to help maintain freshness, quality and consistency.
Ceremonial grade is commonly used to describe high-quality matcha made for drinking, known for its vibrant green colour, fine texture and smooth, naturally sweet umami flavour.
SHIN Matcha is a first-harvest, ceremonial-grade matcha from Shizuoka, made from young, shade-grown tea leaves and finely stone-milled for a smooth, creamy cup.
Enjoy SHIN hot or iced, whisked with water or made into a creamy matcha latte.
You can also blend it into smoothies, stir it into yoghurt or overnight oats, or use it in baking.
Not at all. You can make matcha with a handheld frother, shaker or even a tightly sealed jar.
For the smoothest texture and finest foam, we recommend the traditional Japanese method using a bamboo whisk. You’ll find everything you need to prepare matcha this way in our Accessories Collection.
Keep your matcha tightly sealed in a cool, dry place, away from heat, light, moisture and strong odours.
For the best colour and flavour, we recommend enjoying it within 4–6 weeks of opening.
